It's a comfortable ride with a little bit of power. I'm really enjoying it 3 weeks into ownership:

Yeah, it's a '12. I'm really impressed with how easily and smoothly it drives around town, but you nail the gas and it just gets up and goes. This thing doesn't screw around. Interior quality is surprisingly good, lots of gizmos/gadgets, really just a great job. The difference from the 1st gen CTS-V (V1) to the 2nd gen is striking. I can't wait to see what GM has in store for V3 as well as the upcoming ATS-V (3 series sized fighter). If it's the same jump from V1 to V2, it will truly be a world-beater.Ford

It's not a DCT/PDK level of shifts, but it's pretty impressive how good GM configured the 6L90 in this car. It definitely gets the job done.

Got Recaros, ultraview, and some midnight saeple wood trim crap. Recaros are awesome with all the adjustments, heated/cooled, and great support. It just amplifies how awful my Vette seats are for aggressive driving.Ford
