When we build trailer or modify the tongue, the channel tongue goes under the floor frame like the picture attached. We use 3"-6" channel 3/16" & up as far as thickness.

yea read the bumper with a car bet your over the ratings., get on craigslist and search under parts and any hitch off a 88-98 chevy will bolt on to your FRAME.

You should not be towing with a ball on your bumper dude, unless the tongue weight is next to nothing. Get a hitch. They are cheap.Comment
