I don't get all these "Do you even go offroading?" posts. This is a Mustang site, most of the people in here have, or have had some kind of car that was/is completely useless for anything but having fun. No-one needs a supercharged Cobra, 1000cc crotch rocket, 5.0 running low 11's, or a lifted truck. It's just for fun, because that's the kind of toy that we want. Nothing wrong with it if you can afford it.

That's nice dude. Didn't know they were rolling out the ecoboosts to trucks as well.
How do we forget ourselves? How do we forget our minds?

Why lift a truck when it does not see dirt?

Oh its so rough going to Walmart... Good thing I got a truck that is lifted.. I can get into the parking lot. Its all about looks.

Crap... I think I just agreed to the post I was trying to argue against. Damn Wild Turkey.....

I dunno what everyone is bitching about lifted trucks. I just had a z71 with 3" body lift, 33s, and some edelbrock shocks/struts. The only time I noticed a difference in gas mileage was when i didn't wash off the mud from baja or off roading like a dumb ass.
a body lift vs a suspension lift are two different areas of lifting a truck. You bodylifted your truck and kept the stock suspension minus some shocks. You really didnt do much than make your body of the truck easier to fly off in a wreck.

My truck rides just like stock. So the "rides rough" doesn't always apply.

Can you people read?...............He already said that he did it because he likes the way it looks. It's looks cool, who gives a FUCK if he goes off roading.

OP, the onlt thing that matters is whether or not you like how it looks.

Appreciate it Rick. I love how it looks. And the looks and comments I've been getting from others when I go places are nice too. But most of all, my girl loves it, so that's a plus lol.

Uh.... Yeah I can read. Perhaps you missed the part where I stated its all about the looks.... I guess you missed that part. Or did not read it.

I have lifted trucks while working at Hell... errr old dealer. I just see the downside to the mods. Long story there.......

Most important thing is OP likes his truck.

yours is no exclusion. Honestly I think it's the wheels that kill it for me.

you need a Monster logo in the back window now
I bought my clapped out f250 PSD with the lift on it for a decent price when the first fuel boom hit a few yrs back, I have been wanting to lower it ever since, but the time always outweighs the need, at least for me. I am probably going to get it back to stock or at least a 2" lift this summer from the 6" and 315's it rides on now.

I removed the RockStar sticker upon purchase
