Fuck... custom cam, CNCd heads, suspension work, gears, pulleys... It better run a high 9!
I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the '13 Shelby will crack a 9.xx without the heads leaving the block. I'd almost be willing to say they would do 9s without even touching a valvecover. It's going to be 300lbs lighter than the Camaro and already making obscene power. A couple pulleys and an E85 tune might be all it takes to crack 700whp. I wish ford would put a auto in the gt500. The gt500 should make around 700 rwhp without spending more than a few thousand on parts with a E85 tune. Exhaust, pulleys, fuel pumps, and a tune should put it in the ball park.
I wonder why they didn't port the blower. Are there any aftermarket blowers for the ZL1 yet?
