Nice couple of old super modifies. My friends grandparents had some in Amarillo driven by the great Johnny Suggs among others.

Cool! Amarillo is a big, small town. Just about everyone knows of everyone else in some form or fashion. I saw some pics of his car today at the show. Love seeing all the vintage stuff. Just wish there was more vintage flat track bikes that show up at these shows. I am trying to locate a 70's Bultaco Astro to display with my dads 73 Yamaha MX360.



Side note. My dad and Don Palmer were good friends from way, way back. I bought my first "winter beater" from Don so I did not get my 71 Road Runner dirty when it rained or snowed. I walked into Dons office and gave him about $50. Drove off in a Dodge truck and paid him $25 a week until it was paid off. No interest, just the agreed price and taxes and title fees that he paid at the time of the sale. I think I bought 3-4 winter vehicles from him. Don was a great guy!
