I've been lusting after Montrose trailers for a while now. In that configuration, if it has the center belly mounted storage well (large enough for 4 tires and more), it lists out right at $10,000. Seems like a lot, but that sucker only weighs 1500 pounds empty.

Makes me wonder how "heavy duty" it is? I like, light. But I also want a good sturdy trailer if I am hauling a 3500lb car.

Over at one of the Porsche forums, the speculation was the corner jacks are there for more chassis stability than ease of loading or holding it steady in the paddock. One of the members picked one up and said it is quite rigid, but I wonder how much load a track only 944 can put on it? I'd still love to have one, but $10k is a little nuts. Especially when you get a nice "regular" 24' enclosed for half that or less.

And wrong push bar and not supposed to have a badge. Also I think the original General (in the episode where they built it) I don't think it has any side markers where as the rest had the rectangle one.
