Well I know this isn't most of y'all type of race car, but every since I was little I wanted to race and this past weekend I raced MY car for the first time. I have driven this car before (not nearly as nice as when I have it now) but only for 6 lap heat races. I raced a 10 lap beginners race and only made it 6 laps and spun out running 2nd trying to catch the leader (a 14yr old girl with a $15,000 car).

Well, apparently it stayed the night in Midland. I took the pic yesterday as I passed it in Sweetwater.

Since you're in the Midland area, was there some Mustang gathering on Saturday around there? On Saturday, I saw a bunch of Mustangs(all years) travelling in packs towards Midland. Then yesterday, I saw a few scattered packs driving away from the area. I don't think it was anything at the track on I20 - when I passed it around 5pm it looked closed.

Yea. It was called mustangs across America. Bunch of them headed to Charlotte NC. Kind of like power tour. The stop on Saturday was midland and Dallas on Sunday. I went out there and looked around. Lots of nice cars.
