A few innings? Thats kicking ass isn't it? The way I saw it, this game was more significant than the average regular seaon to C.J. So he will probably be in playiff form. And through 22 pitches he was.

They weren't well-hit balls, all 3 infield singles (one of them misplayed, could've been an inning-ending double play). He's a douche, but he's not a terrible pitcher. I think he still would've given up another 2 runs but I do think he would get out of the first, recover, and have another couple of innings. Shaky, lots of pitches, and bad outing (horrible stat line), but the only reason he was done after 22 pitches is because he threw a lot of pitches and had an hour and a half rain delay.

I actually didn't see his 22 pitches due to my power being out at the time. So C.J. gave up a bunch of infield hits, as did his replacement? But, yeah I was hopeing they would leave him in just to see how it played out.
