Looks good! The c4 is a fun platform. I've owned 8 of them and all were very reliable fun cars. My last was a grand sport. With 125k on the clock I got $12,500 for it. I gave it away to get into a 2011 Mustang. I wish I could get it back. Alot of car for the money and very rare.

Friend of mine got a '96/not GS/with M6= LT4 engine. Stock it was in the high 12's at 110 with drag radials and low 13's at 112 with street tires. The LT4 Vettes were beasts.

I had that exact same car, with about the same miles on it when I got rid of it. I would not want that car back. Looked good, but the miles really added up on that thing and they weren't kind to it.

The best looking C4 every built. That is what got me into corvettes.

Surprisingly this one was the highest mileage of the ones I owned, but the tightest of all of them. The previous owner had really pampered the thing though. The main reason I sold it is because the a/c system in c4's sucks. It will get plenty cold, but does not put out nearly enough volume to cool off the interior. I had longtubes with no cats and a tune, otherwise it was stock. It would run mid to high 12's pretty consistently. It was a z51 car, so it would beat you up on the bumps too. We took it on one trip and my wife was sick of it by the time we got home. It was a fun toy but I'll never own another z51 c4 for a daily driver. I'd consider another but it would need to be a base suspension car. Much more comfortable.

Mine was a Z51 car too, never had a car ride that badly before or since. Mine was stock with a 125 shot on it. Ran good, beat things it probably shouldn't have. Would likely never own another C4 period, but I did like looking at it in the driveway though.

                    • I've had 2 c4's. I had an 1988 that was a turd and I had a 1996 with like 50,000 miles and was procharged. Wish I would have never sold the 1996.

Haven't thought about that in quite a while. Seems it was a bit higher than that. I do know mine is no longer on the road. The guy I sold it to totaled it within a week of taking delivery. Hit by a drunk teen in a 1 ton dually.

Those pipes are actually the inlet side for the compressor. Only ambient air flows through them. The hot side (downpipes) are on the other side...that hot sumbitch lookin' side.
