Its been awhile but I think those Saleen hoods were Carbon Fiber, that could explain the paint fading so bad on that part of the car. Sweet pick up nontheless, JDog...

I don't know if anyone remembers but the only other Saleen member here with a 96-98 Saleen is a Saleen Cobra (G.Scott) He has a 1998 Saleen 4v Cobra in Laser Red.

Ordered all the correct decals today. Still tring to find the oem wheels. Taking it to paint thursday. Should like 100% like this in a few weeks

So were the decals removed intentionally or damaged and not replaced after some paint work? Just wondering why they would take off the decals?

Looks like the car was repainted sometime in the past and decals were reinstalled. Was left outside for a few years and ruined the top of the hood and trunk Hence why im repainting it.

I'm trying to track down the orginal owner was a woman in coppell to learn some history on this car

Yeah my Fbody is paid off and prolly runs just as good ass that 5.0. Just never been a fan of those motors with a Auto and its a heavy car being a vert
