Have you had a chance to tinker with that gauge conversion yet?
the t45 should work with the fox cable/speedo, but our cable is junk and doesnt work anyway, so we didnt mess with it.
the fuel and amp guages are still fox, and still working, the eng temp guage I got to work, but the oil pressure isnt so far. Im going to try a fox sender and see if that fixes it.

a well built one might, but with a sub $500 budget, its hard to make them last very long.
SBC's are much, much worse.
How well do those 32V oiling systems stand up to lateral G's?

apparently very well. Generally, even the most whored out x squad cars and x cabs hold up to lemons very well, with unusually few issues. One of the main judges is an automotive journalist, and has been to nearly every race since the begining. He wrote an article on the top ten most reliable engines in lemons, and the ones you would think would be great (because they run forever on the streets) werent there. Some of the odd ones that you wouldnt think would hold 20 mins without shitting a crank were topping the list. I dont remember what # the 4.6 mod made, but #3 comes to mind. An alpha was #1, based on # of cars run vs # of cars finished.
