On these older cars (like mine), you need to have all records with pictures and receipts to bargain with the insurance company. They will try to whip out the good ol' Kelley Blue Book and throw you a few bucks if they can.

when my cobra was totalled, they didn't really go by KBB. They tried to get me with what the market value of the cobras in my area with the same miles and that were in the same condition.
