Yea its a damn farm truck, i know this. Im going to un farm truck it one check at a time.
A nice set of 18s would be nice eventually and a new paint job without the molding and cab lights. But thats all in due time.

I wouldn't drop it that hard, but I think it'd look cool with a little drop if you're not working it.

I would drop it 2 or 3 inches at the most!

I have a lowered truck and I dig it, but I think your truck would look weird dropped. Get some factory takeoffs and leave it be. IMO

I dig it lowered. I've been dreaming of a long bed, diesel that's been lowered for a shop truck.

I would go for some different rims, though. I prefer the steel wheels and dog bowl hub caps, and widen the back rims.

I agree with the rubber plugs to cover the hole after removing those chicken lights. That would've been done before the truck made it home on day one.

you have no idea how much work it would be to "plug" the holes, its not that simple.
I plan on just replacing the rusted out roof skin instead of just rigging in some plugs.

Did the previous owner hack up the installation or something?

How bad is it rusted out?

Its pretty hacked up top, and the roof is very rusted out to the point the previous owner filled the holes with caulk and silicone and tried to smooth it out over the paint. Its a horrible job. So as stated before, new roof skin, less lights.

                              I see. That sucks.

If the job is more than you want to handle, I'll gladly take that truck off your hands for a couple foxbodies, a bottle of bourbon, and a pack of smokes.
