I searched for the Yahoo article that I read over the weekend that specifically stated unmanned camera but couldn't find it. I should have just used that time to watch the video posted here as it is undoubtably a different camera. Either way it was a very spectacular view of the crash. I'm glad that no one was hurt.

She let out way too quick. Looks and sounds like she just chopped it.

Here's an interview with her. If you watch the clips you can see what's going on - but I don't think the 'camera man' is physically holding the camera. There's NO way any person can stand that still when a car is tumbling towards them.. hell, even if there's not a car tumbling towards you. If you watch the video closely, it appears that the camera is the yellow triangle thing - the person that bails out is way passed that 'object' that appears to be the camera.
