I did 4 nights in Dubai once...and that wasn't enough either. One of the cooler places I've visited for sure....if I'd known you were headed there I would have recommended The Buddha Bar....but maybe you found it on your own!

I was not impressed on the 747, all it is is a 777 with more room on top only accessible by a small stair case. First class no doubt. Which was way better then the business class that I saw on the ground floor. But I am not going to shell out so much money for something that I have to bear only for 8-14 hours.

Yeah exactly that. 747 is just a 777 with an upstairs. Lol.

Seeing these makes me glad I quit racking up miles with AA and started racking them up with a card that let's me use any airline I want, whenever I want.

Cathy is one class act. I have a few friends flying for them. Truly unbelievable how they are treated! Makes me sooo jealous. American carriers can't hold a candle to the likes of Cathy, Qantas, or even JAL!

Its like we(all American carriers) are stuck in the 50's in pay, work rules and comfort for the passengers! Another premo carrier is Lufthansa and British Airways!

Not only are we at AA going through bankruptcy, our management wants to basically cut all of our quality of life in half! along with our salaries. How well are the passengers going to be treated by disgruntled employees?
It is hard to remain professional day in and day out, then when I see posts like this! It brings me back to reality that air travel is elite travel. That is why I started flying 30 years ago.

AA is partnered with Cathay Pacific. Which means your miles for American can be used in the same manner for Cathay. American is partnered with a lot of other airlines too. Which is why I still use them. But yeah, I agree, American Airlines the actual airline here domestically, is shit.
