    In having been there personally, at least Sao Paulo, Ilha Bella, and a coastal city I can't spell (Guadija or something ish). I can tell you it's either really poor or pretty well off. The "middle class" pretty well doesn't exist and there pay grade would be hard to live on from what my friend there I stayed with explained.

    The last fast & furious were they were in Rio portrays what I say for the most part. The shacks with the sheet sheet roof and walls on a big hill side were the same in Sao Paulo. My buddies parents had multiple homes and I would compare them to upper middle class by our standards.
