My personal opinion is that boar is not around 350lbs. or more then likely under 250lbs.

This boar weighed in at #260lbs.

I had to leave quick, so I didn't find anything besides my foot to compare it to. It's not that big, I just guessed. Probably 220lbs tops using the comparison to Jwp's hog.

It's not hard to shoot a fat target with a decent scope at 200 yards running 5-10 mph. I'm not a great marksman, but I can shoot fairly well.

Yeah, i've seen them chomping down on carcasses (sp?) before but never seen one take down a live critter.

I haven't been hunting in a long time... But, I think it would be easier to shoot if you stopped running.
