I'm not looking to run the fastest time, I wanted to do something different and fun. Just want a fun dependable car I can drive to the track or where ever and have some fun. I could have done a normal small block build but why not try something else.

Agreed. Doesn't need the front cage bars under hood in it with a Terminator motor powering it.

Matt there is nothing wrong with to much cage. Props to him for the cage. Its better to have to much cage than not enough. Hell I have a 8pt with a funny bar cage in mine lol

Unless something has changed, Matt won't even put a cage in a car that actually needs one anyway so I wouldn't take cage advice from him.
And yes I have a slow ass car with a 10-pt lol.

Got some parts back from the powder coater. I slao got some of the wiring done, the dash mounted and the hydra-boost.

For now I'm just going to use the factory door panels but I will custom make some in the future. The SN-95 dash interferes with the door handles.

I have a 10 pt certified, actually a 12 point, in my car with a chute and window net sir. been done for 4 years now, car just doesnt run...

James B had to straighten the shit out of my chassis before adding the cage, said my subframes were twisted and couldnt get them out without a plasma torch. lmao

That said, my dad's vert will be near 1000 wheel and it doesn't have a cage either.
