When my FRC was stock I would get 33-34 mpg highway. Heads/cam I still got 31. With the 408 it dropped to 28.

31 hwy is totally possible - I have a buddy with a 98 6-speed(with a new crate LS1 in it) that drove it to NJ and back and got 31+ in it.
