  • Vids of tornado devistation in Arlington Bardin and Green oaks area

The videos below are of my Brother's neighborhood yesterday (4/3/2012) around 4:30. Trees everywhere, couldn't get cars in or out of this area. Some homes total loss. Look close and you'll trees through roofs, roofs gone, sidings gone, etc. These guys will be cleaning up for a while.

Yes crappy phone vid, poor audio, etc etc. Not my Mustang.

As I came into the neighborhood. This was roughly 1 hour after the tornado hit. People still emerging from their homes and doing neighborhood sweeps of people possibly trapped or hurt. Thank God only pets were missing/hurt. Amazing it wasn't more. My Brother hid in a closet and had to hold the door closed. If he'll let me, I'll post his vids later. The kid at the end, my Niece, isn't able to handle the destruction of her neighborhood and damage to her house and was literally in full fledged shock. She had me chocked up so I had to stop a while and try to calm her down.

Back yard mayhem. How the trees kept from falling on the house in the back yard blows my mind. Could have been a lot worse. I kept looking up at the power lines half expecting them to start falling.

As we're getting ready to leave the clean up crew is already working on clearing a path. I was impressed how fast they reacted and how quickly they were able to get this deep into the neighborhood.

The clean up begins today...... Oh this should be fun..... Anyone have an extra chain saw I can borrow for a week?

Wow, I saw the devastation first hand. My inlaws live on oldfield. The tornado landed in there neighbors back yard. I could not believe the damage. Someone was watch over everyone yesterday. I am just glad no one was killed. I heard 7 injuried in Arlington. That school on Green Oaks took a direct shot.
