A buddy of mine works for Traxxas and he's had one on his desk the last day or so.

Who would that be, I have a flying buddy that we fly R/C Airplanes every weekend that works for Traxxas. He told me these were coming out soon.

Maybe top speed MAYBE. That thing is heavy. In any account its gonna be slow off the line if it has any power. Rubber tires just don't hook on.cement with any kind of power. Vht plus the special tire bite for foam tires and foam.tires to stick.

To average Joe it will be fast. It's not geared to be the best drag car around. That's not what traxxas does. They come up with fun products that are easy to get into. Look what the slash has done for the hobby. By far not the best truck, but now short course racing is huge and has brought many people into RC including me.

100% correct kyle. i am a traxxas fanboy because i cant drive for crap and these things take a hell of a beating. i have the slash 4x4, stampede 4x4, and the ken block fiesta just delivered. i dont imagine the drag cars will interest me much.

Those are pretty cool. My friends Dad had one on a shelf in his living room when I was a kid and I would go over there, I never saw him run it but it looked awesome.

CatDady, Econodrag, and I used to travel all over to race. We still have a few cars. Good times!

We'd race 10th scale cars a 10th of a 1/4 mile (132 ft) and hit 75-80 mile an hour in 1.6 seconds. That was years ago and the electric cars have since got a little quicker.

I was drag racing last night with my vintage RC/10 against my buddies new RC/10 . The timing system and the cars are on the list but I bet my draged out Bo-Link will kill these cars . Its got a 64 T-bolt body and a chutte so it will be like Pro-Street vs Funny Car .

You can win with a slash no doubt. They are tough as nails too. Aaron Reynolds used to dominate with a slash 4x4 before he went with the Losi scte.

I'm a traxxas fan. I own three of them. I treat them like shit and have only had to replace some tires and a trans thanks to a failed reverse servo.

I had a stampede back in the day. I raced against some of the pro drag guys here in Greenville a while back. A local hobby shop held a drag race in front of our "mall". It was fun as hell. It was bracket racing, not heads up, and I pissed several guys off when I beat them. I was running a RC10B2 with some home made slicks, a crappy battery pack and a cheap motor.

I believe they still race on Sundays at richland college off 635 .
