Traxxas innovation takes your racing fun to a whole new level with an authentic, portable, and affordable drag race timing and scoring system. The DTS-1 unfolds and turns any strip of smooth asphalt into your own personal dragstrip. Everything has been scaled to re-create the entire drag racing experience with as much accuracy and realism as possible. The center point is the authentic christmas tree with its super-bright LED display and modern stage light configuration. Dual beams on the starting line allow competitors to pre-stage and stage with laser-precise accuracy.
Exclusive Burnout, Staging, and Race Modes
The Traxxas Funny Car's patent-pending Throttle Mode system makes the Funny Car driving experience as authentic as the car's styling. Burnout mode delivers full-power, linear throttle control to warm the tires as you hold the Funny Car in position and "smoke" the tires. Flip the switch to Stage Mode for ultra-precise low-speed control to creep up to the start line or into the DTS-1 timing system's stage beams (DTS-1 sold separately). Flip to Race mode, and the throttle delivers your pre-set torque settings--turn torque down when traction is low, dial it up for high-bite conditions.

hell fucking yes. I WANT! the perfectionist in me isnt happy with the intake scoop, but other then that, i love it. I could totally see getting 2 and setting up a mini 330ft track. I'm very curious as to how they figured out how to get the car to do a burnout

I don't think it's anything fancy. It wont do the burnout on it's own, you still have to hold it. I think the difference is in the tune. When you flip the switch to "burnout" it just puts full power to the esc and motor. When you flip the switch to race it then adjusts to the tune you originally installed.
Maybe top speed MAYBE. That thing is heavy. In any account its gonna be slow off the line if it has any power. Rubber tires just don't hook on.cement with any kind of power. Vht plus the special tire bite for foam tires and foam.tires to stick.
