Thanks guys. Yes they do have a sense to want to explore and roam. Definately dont wanna let them out alone. But if trained properly they will not run away, or will return. My last one hated being in the back yard so he figured out how to climb the fence anf would run around the front and lay on the porch.

Good lookin' pup! I hope he keeps his mellow attitude, because they are the biggest escape artists out there. There is also a group on FB called "Husky Huddle Malamute Mingle" if you have any questions or want to take him to some of the meet ups.
