Like that.

Jeff brought by his new playtoy Friday and I drove it and after that, remembering what my 2002 'Vette felt like when it was new (285 RWHP stock and ran 12.8 @ 108 in COLD air) and the 2000 Cobra R (mid 350's RWHP) and I thought to myself......."Why the heck mod this? You are at where the Cobra R was when I had $2000 worth of exhaust mods on it (385 RWHP) or you are at where the 'Vette was when we had all the exhaust, intake, free mods etc., and then maybe the loppy cam before the heads and intake and, of course, all the hours of tuning with LS1 Edit (wow, that seems like an old program now)! And all of that that was not cheap by any means"!
Here you have a car, right out of the showroom with tons of useable torque, RWHP that is really respectable with anything you will meet on the road, cold A/C, stereo, a nice "lowered look" already, a sleeper exhaust sound that hides its real performance. What else is there to do?
Well, few of us have had a Mustang or 'Vette or whatever type car a long time and not modded it! That's part of the game we play! But this car comes as close to any I have seen that w/o mods, will satisfy a lot of us car nuts!Mustangs previously owned:

Very true. But it never hurts to have a lil more power. If you would have told me 10 years ago that the regular old GT's would be running 12's off the showroom floor and comfortably doing so I would have thought you were nuts. I know I'm enjoying the hell out of mine and it's only going to get better with the Roush blower: D
I know alot of people look back to the 60's as the time of powerful muscle cars. But now is also a great time to be a car guy. Powerful cars from the factory with real reliability, much better gas mileage, very refined nice driving cars etc. It's awesome that anyone with a Mustang can simply bolt on a supercharger, make 500-700rw on pump gas and still enjoy the car as if the day it came off the showroom floor.
