I know! Age like any car takes its tole. Its 27 years old now.



Keeping with the updates:

I bought 87-93 mirrors this weekend, and put them on. I also played around with the 87-93 door trim. I had a driver side.






Then I degreased the engine bay. Now I get to work on the rust under the old battery tray.



I just finished up adjusting the doors. They had sagged bad. The hinges were not bad, they had just sagged. Now they shut and open perfect.

It's all in the owner and owner's care of the car... my dad has a Road Runner he bought new, and although it's no show car, it looks like one compared to this project.

Sad someone would let any car get to that shape.

It appears in the 14 years that it sat, that is when the neglict happened. It probably was broken down in a driveway, uncovered, and uncared for. And by the time it was sold, the damage was done.

I had a little bit of time this morning to mess with the car. I started hiding the wires.

Im keeping the door trim, nose, and tail lights. I am going to build this as a pro touring 4 eye.

It does! It looks a lot better then I thought.

makes me miss my four eye......fuck what was i thinking.....oh well if everything goes as planned the L will have m&h 390s out back on factory polished and widened gen 1s and a little powerdyne SVO kit under the hood in a couple months
