Kind of ridiculous honestly....about $8K for a supercharger kit, $9K for a turbo kit.

The SC kit from VF Engineering is about the best one out there...uses a Vortech head unit, and claims 120hp gain (at the wheels).

The Vivid Racing Turbo kit is supposed to be an easier install, and of course it includes a full exhaust system, and claims 130hp at the wheels.

I think I'd go with a Renegade LS2/LS3 conversion instead....for a little more than the turbo kit above you could be packing a 6.2 and making about the same amount of power with virtually no added weight over stock....and no more ~$200 oil changes.

I toured their shop when I was out in Vegas for the SEMA show last year...really a class operation. They had some damned nice cars in the shop at the time...really seemed to have their shit together. They have the LSX transplants down to a science and have worked all the bugs out of their packages.

Nah, doubt I'd ever do it to this car....but I'd love to pick up a 996 theft recovery, roller (one that has shit the IMS bearing), etc. to do that conversion on...just not something you see very often. Power-to-weight ration feels really good as-is, adding another 120-150hp to one of these things has to be a blast.

I could def see myself trading up into a Turbo car eventually....but who knows.
