Came out nice and glossy, well worth the price considering my @home paint job still cost nearly $600. It still seems easier to me to spray vs. roll. I realize not everyone has an air compressor or could fab up a spray booth, but roll on? Holy shnykies.

I worked for a guy years ago and we used that to paint frames on 18wheelers. but we would thin it down and spray it from a primer gun.

I doubt I participated in that thread, but I would've probably thought the same thing.

I would use a spray gun instead of a roller. F all the wet sanding!! Anyone here wet sand a car? It fucking sucks! I would like to do a project in this stuff though.

Yes sir u did. I am seriously considering this option. Either doing the gloss black or a matte black like 4bangen's mark. The prep work, fixing some shallow hail sings, and wet sanding scares me. Prep work on this process (from what ive researched) is just sanding the body to create a rough surface for the rustoleum to bond to. I'm more concerned with how to wetsand properly and also getting the nooks and crannies painted right (I.e. the front grill of an 82 mustang). Hm...
