One more question for you guys, I found the original color code was Burnt Orange and this is the pic I found of a Camaro that color. I like the black, but it shows every wave, ding, scratch and imperfection in the car. Should I go back original color or maybe just leave it alone and drive it?
Leave it alone & drive it. It looks good black. It would look OK in the burnt orange. It might look much better in metallic copper or some other color.....there are lots or red or black camaros out there.

The black looks good, but I realy like the orange. It shows the lines of the car much better.

Bad ass car. Looks and sounds good!
Whats wrong with red? My dad's I painted Porsche red.
One more thing on the list for later lol. I only paid 10k for a running and driving big block Camaro. It needed a starter, battery and the carb that was on it leaked everywhere. The posi has seen better days, it doesn't have power brakes and the compressor for the A/C is missing. Plans include Vintage Air A/C setup with the front runner system, redoing the rearend and maybe doing a hydroboost setup for the brakes with the Wilwood setup so it will fit behind the factory wheels. Later I would love to go EFI, overdrive and maybe doing more modern suspension, but I really don't want to have to take it apart and not drive it lol.
That thing is friggin sweet. My current resto-mod is a 80' z28 with a soon to be lq9. Nice car man, if you have any questions go to nastyz28.com. those guys live and breath Camaro.
