OK, I'm curious, when the cop saw him in the truck, and starting it up, why wouldnt he just shoot out the tires? He already had his gun drawn and ready to fire, so why wait to begin a chase and put more lives in danger? This is an honest question, not trying to say he was wrong I'm really intrigued. It would seem to be an easy and safe thing to do am i correct?
LEO's, any input on this one?2009 Mercedes C63 AMG

Sucks that he got shocked from his own taser.

Amazing how quickly the concrete truck stopped and rolled over. It must have been empty otherwise the fleeing truck would have been a smear on the pavement. Sucks the concrete truck driver has to live with killing the guy but hopefully he will see it as "good riddance" and not have any issues with lawsuits and such.

Only way is if the vehicle is coming at us in an attempt to run us over. 03truebluegt is right on with DPS.
