New mods for the cobra.

I've been wanting to change the magnaflow exhaust on the cobra. I really didn't like the way it sounded, just under moderate acceleration it sounded like a SBC with glasspacks to me. Very pop-py for lack of a better word. Anyways, I found a bassani catback for cheap and I had the pipe that went between the muffler and tips ceramic coated. I think that it turned out ok. And I absolutely love the sound, very smooth.

Also, I really didn't like the way that the stock steering wheel was showing a lot of wear. And I liked the look of the 03' anni's. So, I did some looking around and found a company that refinished various wheels, the 03 anni's included. I love the wheel. Figured I'd show some pics.

Any of you cobra guys need a set of MM Full Length SFC's? I've got a set BNIB, bare steel. $75 takes em!!! I just want them out of my garage!

The "cheap" set of bassani catback was the non SS version. So it wouldn't have polished up like yours. Plus mine is low maintenance, lol.

These are the guys who did the wheel. They don't always have them in stock, but I paid right at around $500 for it. VERY good quality, and they said that if I wasn't happy with it, send it back. WAY better alternative than a used FR500 wheel that people are charging stupid money for IMO.

Looks great dude!! Did you have Magnapacks or the big mufflers before? A guy I was on my boat with had an 04 with 'Packs and an O/R H and I hated the way it sounded.
