    The Dagger GT-R in satin black, the first of two prototypes. This prototype will feature the 632 ci/2700 hp custom Dagger GT engine, specially made for TranStar Racing by Nelson Racing Engines, the world’s greatest “big horsepower” engine builder.

    All street models and the road racing model (GT-R) will feature a composite 6061 T6 aerospace aluminum and carbon fiber monocoque frame, shown above. At only 300 pounds, this high-tech, high-strength superlight frame, by Composite Energy Technologies, will keep the Dagger GT’s total weight in pounds below our 2700 horsepower, creating a one-of-a-kind Supercar that earns its name, “Super.” The GT-D (Dragster) and GT-LS (Landspeed) models will use a high-strength 4130 Chromoly Steel tube chassis (by AW Race Cars) to meet all the regulations of NHRA and BNI/Bonneville for racing at NHRA/IHRA tracks, the Bonneville Salt Flats and the El Mirage Dry Lake Bed.

                      We Build Horsepower. If you are looking for a 2,000 Horsepower race application, or a 1,500hp street application, NRE has been building turn-key solutions for super motors since 1995. Put simply - we are gearheads. We love high-horsepower performance and always have.
