Agreed. But how do you convince the judge of that?

If that was a citable offense this entire website would fill the gap in DPDs budget for the next ten years.
The traffic might have been going slow, but the Vette was going faster than the flow.

Guilty until proven innocent. Probably cause FTW. He doesn't have to prove that he was going under 50, the officer has to prove he was.

I'm going to disagree. You immediately tell that he's traveling faster than the rest of the traffic and then he steps on it.

you were speeding to begin with and then really stepped into it. if this video is indicative of your normal driving style, i would suggest you go with a quieter exhaust to draw less attention in the future.

How is he speeding? He is on GB where the speed limit is 70 mph and clearly the traffic is going slower then 50 mph. There is no way he was going 70 when he passed the cop hint he was speeding. Plus I think he said his car is stock so those are stock mufflers.

Can we write that cop a ticket for failure to maintain his lane? Almost the entire time he's in the right hand lane he's on the rumble strips with no need.

I always think its funny when people get a ticket and come here to bitch about it looking for ways out.

Go get a lawyer. The only person you need to convince is THE JUDGE.

i didn't say he was going 70. i said he was speeding. technically, the speed limit was 50 in that circumstance. he appears to be going faster than the flow of traffic and then obviously disappeared. it's nothing a good traffic attorney can't take care of, but it's odd crying foul about it after seeing the video. some people just like to feel as if they are always slighted by the police and want a sympathetic ear.

Emergency vehicles can operate contrary to the law.

He can park that thing sideways on the tollway and it is perfectly legal.

Or the jury. I have had jury duty TWICE in the last couple years now for people going to court to fight tickets. If he really wants for it to be impartially tried, it needs to be a jury trial. The judge that plays golf with the prosecutor on Wednesdays isn't all that partial in these cases it seems.

Two things, "obviously disappearing" has nothing to do with either citation he received, and, if you would, prove to us real quick that he was going faster than 50 mph.
