long story short, its a cultural thing where the japanese having such a rediculously conservative society, completely let loose in entertainment venues like that. In fact, public embarrassment like that is considered extremely beneficial. If their society was a bit more loose to begin with, we wouldn't have wacky Japanese tv shows like MXC where the entire object is to be ridiculed for failing horribly.Comment
