You are probably right.. But at the DMV its worth 4k at least. Everyone is out to screw you. I'd fight them. We did it before.

The big problem is they are trying to say a 65k mile car is a 200k mile car . I'm not sure what the differance in payout will be but every penny counts when you are trying to replace it .

My Blue car was a 66k car, they only gave me 3100 dollars for mine, but it was still driveable, they screwed me. All I wanted was for them to fix it, I was told thats not an option. had the car for a week. The red car I was screwed out of, liability only, and it was my fault. Booth wrecks happened in a 3 week span I might add. Had no luck february 2010.

Man that sucks Rocket . If he got 3k he would be gold . His car will still run but not for long with the fan in the radiator . He is gonna keep it and we will remove what we need for the drop top but its a shitty deal all around .

Good news . They offered him $6100 plus his deductible back if they take the car or $5000 plus the deductible if he keeps it . He kept the car so he got $5500 . We already worked a deal for me to trade my 91 drop top for his car and some cash . After some time looking over the damage I have decided to fix it . It will have a salvage title but its to nice to junk and the damage really is not that bad . I guess sometimes insurance works .
