I could be wrong, but I have a feeling she thought something might happen, so she turned the camera on before walking over to the TV.

First, he got WAY too mad about the Playstation and whatever else he wanted. Second, he shouldn't have gotten in her face over something so trivial. Third, she shouldn't have taken a swing at him. Fourth, I don't care what the history is between them or what she did/didn't do, he was 100% in the wrong for putting his hands on her and/or punching her. Last and most importantly, nothing, and I mean nothing, like that should ever happen around kids. Hell...it should happen at all!!!

So how do you think this plays out in court? Mutual combat? I say they both need to go to jail. There shouldn't be any gender bias when it concerns the law. Personally, I think she was coached to say those statements and when it wasn't going her way she provoked what happened, then it got way out of hand.

He shouldn't have hit her like that, but she had it coming with hitting him first.
Women seem to think they can hit a guy and never get hit back, guess that shit backfired on her....

I'm not sure. I've never done any criminal law and haven't done any family law in a long time. My guess would be that it would be considered mutual combat based on what I saw in the video and they could both be guilty of domestic violence and maybe even child abuse/neglect or something like that for doing it in front of the kids and child protective services could get involved. As far as what would happen in a divorce proceeding, the judge will be very upset with both of them and should be very concerned for the kids. Again, child protective services would probably get involved to see what needs to be done with/for them as the court has to decide what's in the best interest of the children when it comes to awarding custody and similar issues. Again, I am not a criminal or family law expert, so take all of this with a grain of salt.

She had it coming? Surely you can't be serious. That's not a factor, nor should it ever be, for domestic violence offenses.

thats shitty, would love to have a few minutes with that guy off camera

also, anyone else think the title of the video is weird, i like how they make sure to identify that this happened in the u.s., as if many other countries don't treat women WAY worse.

I agree with you on this.

What happened in the video shouldn't have happened on either side.

She would be the one going to jail. She was the aggressor no doubt. She kept jumping in front of him and pushing him and putting her hands on him even though he should have walked away also. We do not ever take two people in domestics unless there is a delayed response from the other party or something. For instance someone hits some one in the face then goes back to their bedroom. Then a few minutes later the one that got popped goes into the bedroom and lays the other out with a bat. One would probably be filed on at large though.

mabey because they wanted to point out that it was in a country where women are treated the best, which makes it a rarer. IDK, I didn't watch the video.

He shouldnt have hit her. He should have just tossed her to the side. She couldnt have been more then 100lbs at best! He needs a good Asswhoopin for hitting her with a closed fist. Open hand, Well its still not right, But open hand with about 50% power to let her know not to hit you. But full fist! Way overboard
