          The US military has been experimenting with LED textiles in infantry clothing for the better part of a decade. You never see or hear anything about it, but you can assume it's quite advanced. This is a single camera system which works well from a distance. Last time I saw an example they were using an internal magnetic field that allowed each LED or fiber optic point to find the exact opposite emitter and display exactly what was on the other side of them. It made you look like predator - and cost like 10 million dollars.

                  I saw a demo back in 99 when I was in the Marine Corps. It was fucking crazy, from under 20 yards, it was noticeable, beyond 50 and guys went predator. Couldn't see them until they made a drastic movement.

                              I'm sure it would work that well. Apparently Al Jazerra uses 320x400 cell phones with 90% compression for their field cameras.
