    Wow. Displacement the only factor?
Can't be a COD factor, me thinks.

Well the 150 has a o-200 continental vs a modern 172 has a io-360 producing 80 more hp than the o-200s 100hp. The o-200 burns 4.5 gph leaned in cruise vs the io-360's 9 gph. The 172 is alot heavier though too and has 2 more seats

Seriously.... do you know the history of that plane? If O.C. Boyles ever owned it I flew it as a child, with him "really" manning the controls. Look to see if it was ever registered in Sinton Tx. Looks JUST like the Cessna I grew up with.

I'm missing some years in the logs but if you tell me about what year that was I can tell you if I have record of that year

If the windows are glass, they will clean up.

Would have been late 70's early 80's.

No glass in a 150, EW. All plexi. If its not too deep, they can be saved, but usually on an airplane this old they need replacement. Not too expensive too buy, but kinda labor intensive to install.

And to the OP, nice looking airplane.

Plexiglass and they are majorly fogged out anyways. Pilot side is original 1968 and so was the rear. I'm in the process of changing them out today

The side windows were 50 bucks each. New. And not too hard to put in. What kinda plane do you own and where are you based out of

Micromesh FTMFW unless its clouded or crazed.

I have replaced several front windscreens in high-wing Cessna's before without taking out the lower retainer or drilling back the cabin top skin. Manufacturer recommends putting a heat blanket on it to make the plexi more flexible during install. We never did and never had a problem.

Have seen some that squeaked though
