another good band, that has an old school sound, is the turnpike troubadours.

I've been an OCMS fan for a while now, but haven't gotten to see them live just yet.

Turnpike Troubadours are friends of mine...and they're in Denton at Dan's Silverleaf TONIGHT. I'll be there. I love their first 2 albums and they just got done cutting their third. Good shit.

And no, OCMS did not do the "Guy on a Buffalo" skit...that was The Possum Posse, a jug band from Austin.
