Yeah...not for me either. I don't have the skill or desire to learn. Well, if from an airplane that is one thing. Jumping from a cliff introduces way too many variables in my opinion.

I lost a co-worker who was hang gliding and ended up pretty much like the last clip. He ran off the cliff, somehow the glider stalled and turned right back into the cliff. Crushed his grape.

Lots of people know who Jeb Corliss is, and/or have seen the video "Grinding the Crack" that featured the AWOL song "Sail"

he ate it pretty bad filming for ABC a month back, shattered his legs and luckily was able to deploy his parachute after impact.

Literally 1 foot of impact distance saved his life. at that speed I imagine a hip/lower abdominal impact would have turned his internals into soup or torn him in half (life the guy that hit the bridge in the other vid)

Not a thing wrong with SCUBA diving. I have done about 25 dives since 2008 when I received my cert. I am good to 130 feet, but the max I have ever done was a sunken cargo ship that was at 110 feet. I tell you, it is awesome to be able to breathe full deep breaths under water.

Now, imagine it at night...it's 10x better.

I am real damn nervous diving in the ocean because I am paranoid about sharks. Night dive would just compound that into pure terror. Terror + Diving = a dangerous situation. I was really paranoid when I went diving in Grand Cayman because they had just tagged two Tiger Sharks in the area.
