one time we were fucking around up north of Creede just seeing where the trails took us, and the "road" we were on just kinda disappeared into the slope in front of us
had to back about 1/8 mile back to where we branched off!!! good times

Probably in 95ish or so, Dad and I took Gold Camp Road in an attempt to go the back way to Cripple Creek. The road has since washed out, but it was a short wheel base recommended road at that time. He tried to tackle it in an f350 crew cab. Same deal, had to back out through some switch backs, the level of suck was immense.
