  • Color change

I'm considering doing a color change on my car. The paint isn't 100% these days and it has a few common (and not so common) cracks in the paint. I still like the Grabber Blue but wouldn't mind a color change. I like blue and was either Kona, Sapphire, or somewhere in between. Ideas?

I wouldn't do a color change. Maybe find a way to break up the color a bit on the side.

Don't do it! The car looks great already, I'd just fix the problems.

The color on that generation looks fantastic. Looks like a dyed easter egg on the latest generation. I'd say keep it that color.

Dude, don't you change it... When was the last time you saw a classic that color? And quit posting pics of your car, every time I see it I really want a classic.

i may be wrong on the years...
67 brittney blue (kind of a light metallic blue)
with 65 poppy red (orange) stripes

that is what i was going to paint my old shelby...
or if you wanna go something totaly different
paint it like the old 66 gerber baby food race car... that would be sick

No, I like the chrome front bumper. Looks odd without it.

Don't know why, but I've never been a fan of bright colors on older cars. Just doesn't look right to me.

Really? I think it makes it more sleek. I never have been a fan of the front bumpers on this model but the 69's look good IMO.

This is an older pic when I had the mesh grill in it.
