is it going to be your business or just a hobby shop for your toys?

Shop looks great so far, but the blown in insulation looks kinda' funky... not sure
what could be done about it though, maybe cover it with white vinyl.

Excellent... you're embarking on a great adventure.

I recall 1987 when I started my own shop business... seems like it was
            only yesterday.

Time flies when you're having fun.

What a weekend! Was a cluster f all the way. Expected to paint and do the floor Saturday for over a month now but mother nature said no. So that all had to wait till today. We decided to install the lifts....... damn. Bought a Harbor Freight POS special hammer drill and it litrally burst into flames on the first hole. So I bought a Ryobi 1/2" cause my grinder, saw, drill are from them and I had them for years so thought it would work. It got two holes done before it fried. Returned it and got the biggest Makita they had and it fried after two holes...... WTF!? 6 hours latter and $100 in gas and we had two bolts in and two other partial holes. So today I bought the biggest Bosch I could find and some expensive bits. Instead of letting others drill I did it myself while they painted the building. Took me and hour and a hald to drill the remaining 28 holes and install the studs and bolt everything down.

So anyway the building is almost done. We got about 1600 square feet of the floor epoxied and the whole building painted white. Doors are started and will finnish tomorrrow. Also painted the bare wood walls for the office white and matched the shelves in blue. Coming together well. Gotta get some 8' lights and one sodium vapor light and all thats good then.

So heres some teasers. I wanna thank everyone who showed: Jeremy (Sapperfire on LVC and my buisiness partner, dude owling on the lift), John (mr.shovels on Stangnet), his girlfriend and Cameron all for helping. We all busted ass and they are some good good friends. Thanks guys.

Little teaser of the side painted the new white and the blue going on the doors.

Also the shops name has changed. Its gonna be called "Laser-Fire Automotive & Performance"

You'll be be sweeping up that insulation shit daily. If you like a clean shop, I highly recommend that you think about scraping it off and going with the chicken wire reinforced fiberglass insulation before you get too much stuff moved in there. Also, when you think you have enough lighting, add 30-50% more.
