I have a Sokol that I run on a 2cell Y wind Outrunner 4.1x4.1 prop, that I would love to have clocked!

I am sooo addicted to speed, I am done with the 3-d stuff. I have given 3-D hobby shop enough money! LOL

Don't get me wrong it is fun, but ----- once you have experienced the 200mph whistle, there is no going back!
Right now the wall is not enough room for a bigger can under the nose. There is one on RCPlanet that cracked 150 but I cant find the video. All they really need is the tail feathers reinforced.
Now the F4 Corsair on the other hand, it was stupid for me to throw that power setup in it. One pull up to do a loop at WOT caused the wings to fold. Was stupid but I found its limits. LOL

Thats the problem with the pressed foam. We were glassing Zagies, chopping them down and running 2000 watts with Neu motors and still folding them up, even with carbon fiber spars!

I love the eastern block hollow molded stuff! very well built. I am running a "flash"II with 5cells 1.7meter bird, and it is very vast on the climb and the inverted pass downhill!

      One day, I want a Surprise XVI-F5B! http://www.soaringusa.com/Surprise-XVI-F5B.html

I flew the mustang today, and the cub. The mustang flew great, the cub flew good until it vibrated itself apart. lol It actually landed real smooth for the circumstances.

One of my favorites! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QjR-KrlVlVE (I still haven't learn to embed)

My Viper was clocked close to 140mph, with a $119.00 plane, a Super Tigre .40 with some work done to it. Joe's Viper with a Jett .40, a $450.00 motor (Jett as in brand, not turbine!) went 165mph. And this was with a REAL radar gun, not a cheap sports radar gun. My Rookie, basically an Ugly Stick goes 110 with a Thunder Tiger .40 Pro, real fun plane.

I didn't know there were this many speed freaks here! Maybe we can meet up and throw the Pylons up someday and have some fun! (AMA required!) I wonder, do I know any of you guys?

I've got every micro copter by E-Flight... love them. Even more fun bc I get to fly them in a basketball stadium.

Put the mustang in the ground this week.

Almost have it back together now

Now I just need to replace the motor.

                      Well this happened,

and after I put it back together, I realized it got pretty ugly.

so off came the decals, and on went the primer. Then came some prepaint detail.

still bouncing around idea's on paint.
and just because, here's it's little brother.

                        finished the rebuild.

It still fly's well. I'm surprised at the resilience of these planes.

I decided to acquire a new air frame. The old one will get a stronger motor and new servos.

I also decided to try my hand at scratch building. Got a pattern for this bad boy.
It's a dog fighter. the frame is about a buck fifty in foam board.

Just getting back into it. I have a plane and a radio. I still need lipos, charger, and servos. Anyone have a good charger that want to let go?

They are also crap, read the reviews on their stuff. Most of their chargers have issues putting all the cells at the same voltage which will reduce the life of your packs.
