But it's still just a mustang, right?
And that was in 1998.
What about when GM challenged ford to a drag race back in the mid-late 90s? GM brought an f body with a 572 and ford brought a 94 cobra with 600ci bbf? GM lost the drag race by about a full second and the mustang still never had traction. LoL 855hp n/a. 10.3 at 135 on some drag radials from the 90s. Lol! 0-60 in 1.9 seconds. SVE was badass. This shows that GM has never had a leading edge in performance, ford just didn't produce them because there wasn't money in it, they also didn't file for bankruptcy.
Simply stated, the '94 Boss Concept is the ultimate street machine. This monster puts out 855 horses along with 790 lb-ft of torque.
This, the ford GT, the coyote and the 13' gt500 is why ford is the greatest.

Your logic (or lack thereof) seems to imply since the Corvette outsells pretty much every sports car except the 350/370Z (Mustang/Camaro are muscle/sporty cars) then Porsche should stop producing the 911, BMW should stop making the M3, Audi shouldn't make the R8, Ferrari shouldn't make anything, etc.Ford
