I almost hate to admit that I like it, but the GM guys really make me not like it with their attitudes towards the Mustang. I understand it's competition, but they really shouldn't talk shit until they put it up against the GT500.

Read a mag article and the ZL1 went around a roadcourse faster than the Boss 302. It does have 140 more hp but the article said even at 400+ lbs heavier the Camaro still had higher mid-corner speeds than the Boss. Pretty impressive but the MSRP is like $55k.

maybe ford should brag about how the mustang gt out performs the v6 camaro. lol maybe i'm missing something, but it seems like the competitor for this car would be the gt 500.

Not sure if you have been up to reading current events Brad, but the 2012GT out performs the Camaro SS in just about every catagorie, so need to compare it the v-6. They are going to go after the GT with the ZL1 cause they know it will not fair well against the 2013 GT500.

i've heard that the mustang has been doing pretty well...i was just pointing out that they're comparing the wrong models. i agree, it sounds like they know that the gt 500 would stomp that zl1, so they're acting like it doesn't exist! lol

No doubt that a car making equal power and weighing significantly less is going to turn better times in. And I agree that this car should be compared with the GT500 based on specs.
