Not digging the GT hoods at all compared to the 11/12's.

Steve did you buy yourself a GT500 yet? I know you were looking into getting a new toy. I love the new taillights since I hated the old rear ends but I agree that i also liked the older front fenders/hood.

Not yet. Ive missed out on a couple of them here theast few weeks. I missed one at Love Field by 30 minutes. Told them i was on my wayndown there to get it and it sold before i got there.

Some really good deals can be found right now with so many people selling to get a 13. The problem is im looking for specific color combos with thenperformance/electronics package for a certain price. If i can find that i just might get an 08/09 for much less and mod the crap out of it.

Sweet, I'll be jealous of either I'm sure.

Im jealous of the people getting a 13! Lol. They are lighter and make 100hp more with a warranty. But im not dropping 70k on a mustang. Base price is 55k plus expected 10-15k dealer markups. Especially when you can get a gently used 10 for 37k or a 11/12 for low 40's with very low mileage. 08/09's with less than 10k miles for 30k. Add a Whipple/KB to either and it will eat a 13's lunch.

It appears those tail lights will physically fit in a '10-12, but they don't fit quite right. The new lights are flatter along the bottom and end up leaving a gap.

That car is THE most well-sorted car in the entire Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge series. It's pretty fun watching Roush's kid & especially Billy Johnson driving that car. It's no surprise to me that it has 2013 tail lights in it, I've always heard stories that it is pretty-much an R&D car for Ford. That car just won the season opener @ Daytona on Saturday, and it's sister car is driven by Reba McIntyre's son.(sp?)

Is that an illusion or are the rear tires and fenderwell MUCH smaller than the front??

What's the story behind the shocks on the GT00?

Hope that blower bolts on to the old ones. Same with the driveshaft.

Accelerating hard coming off a right hander, the weight is transferred to the LR of the car, making it look like the fenderwell is smaller.

                                This.

That is the infield at Daytona Motor Speedway. The race will probably air on Saturday on the Speed Channel. It will be a good one to watch, and I wouldn't be surprised if the announcers say a few interesting things about that car, 2013 shit, etc.
