It isn't the watching part that is hard. You can always turn it on for a sesame street episode and let him watch it while you get some stuff done. What is hard is the having an Elmo EVERYTHING. Elmo shirt, socks, toys, you name it. My son points out every Elmo in the grocery store, mall, etc.

Mine were never into Barney, Tellatubbies, Elmo, The Wiggles, or any of that crap, thank god. I also didn't let them watch tv when they were little.
