  • Unusual Punishment?

Came across this in Heber Springs, AR... had to go around the block just to get video...

I find some humor in it, think its slightly wrong, nor do I think its going to do anything as far as teaching him any kind of lesson... weird none the less!

In Anson(just north of Abilene), they make minors that get caught with booze(MiP) do the same thing. The humiliation is supposed to discourage themfrom continuing the actions they got popped for.

OH! Is that what it's for? I thought it was just for public entertainment.

Nothing wrong with some public humiliation when you do that. They need to go back to chain gangs and have them out for all to see.

Man I think thats an awesom idea, i can't remember what state I was in but they were doing community service and had vests on that said what they did. One said something like " I was driving drunk" in so and so county. I think should do it every where. It costs us money when these people steal shit.

I think its a great idea and I definitely think it will make the small time offenders think twice about doing stupid shit. But then again I am one of the few who believes in accountability for ones actions.

I think they should bring back the stocks or pillory in the center of town, where you have to stand there for hours and have people throw rotten vegetables, garbage and shit at you. A few hours in there and quite a few little assholes won't be repeat offenders.
