I just showed my teens the joy of MS DOS 3.31 and Windows 3.11 for Workgroups that I still have running on an old Compaq 486e laptop a few days ago. They were complaining about how it sucks that the internet on their smart phones was so slow. They didn't know there was a time without the internet and cell phones. It's too bad I didn't have a 300 baud acoustic coupled modem and a way to connect to Compuserve to show them how slow things were for us back 20 years ago.

Win95 was a blessing. At least it came with a protocol stack other than netbios.
