I just picked up this truck for cheap but it needs paint. I don't want to spend much money on it but I also don't want it to look horrible. The truck will be driven some and I'm sure it will see some mud and trails. I considered trying to do flat black but I am a mechanic not a painter so I am a little nervous. Any suggestions?

Rhino liner , if you aren't ready to spend 2-5 k just wait . There is no such thing as a good , cheap paint job . Macco paint falls off in a year and flat black will cost you a ton in prep down the road .The only difference between a tax man and a taxidermist is that the taxidermist leaves the skin. -- Mark Twain

when you're talking about a $100k+ car? ok, the satin black has a little swag to it...
but on a $2500 car? it looks like a $2500 car in primer
